The programme brings together Russian and Chinese researchers around shared themes of green chemistry and organosilicon materials.

Purpose of the Symposium

The symposium aims to advance Russia–China scientific and technological cooperation in sustainable (green) technologies and organosilicon chemistry. Building on the success of the 1st Symposium held in June 2025 at Shandong University, the 2nd Symposium will deepen bilateral collaboration with a particular focus on environmentally friendly technologies and accelerating innovation transfer to industry.

Objectives of the Symposium:

To discuss current challenges in silicone chemistry and explore new application areas in the context of the gradual transition to chlorine-free monomer synthesis methods and the reduction of environmental impact.
To develop novel scientific approaches enabling organosilicon polymers and materials to achieve top-tier consumer properties with a minimal number (2–5) of technological stages.
To advance effective strategies for controlling the properties of organosilicon polymers through targeted regulation of their molecular structure.

3 Energy- and resource-efficient production technologies for silicones;

6 Industrialization and scale-up: pilot lines and plant implementation;
7 Industrial applications: medical, electronics, consumer products, construction, etc.

Participation by pre-registration; selection of oral and poster presentations via submission of abstracts.

Registration fee policy: Participation is free for researchers from academic institutions. A registration fee of 20,000 RUB applies to researchers from industrial R&D departments and business representatives.

Creation and endorsement of bilateral working groups on specific green organosilicon topics;
A roadmap of joint R&D projects and pilot initiatives;
A prioritized list of projects and recommendations for inclusion in intergovernmental programmes;
Strengthened contacts between Russian and Chinese enterprises and research teams;
Agreement on the feasibility and framework for establishing the Russian-Chinese Institute of Next-Generation Organosilicon Technologies;
A memorandum regarding the founding of the K.A. Andrianov Russian-Chinese Institute of Silicone Chemistry;
Formal recommendations to deepen Russia-China partnership in education, science, and high technologies.
